Conversion-focused e-commerce for the Dutch and European market, including the payment shifts you cannot ignore and the AI that actually helps once you have traffic.

Most webshops do not have a traffic problem. They have a conversion problem, a margin problem, or a data problem, and buying more traffic makes all three worse. We work on the parts that compound instead.

What we do

What shapes the cost

No published price. What moves it: how many products and variants you carry, whether you are migrating or starting fresh, how many integrations are involved (ERP, fulfilment, accounting), how many languages and markets, and whether you need the AI layer at all. A single-market shop with fifty products is a completely different project from a multilingual catalogue of ten thousand.

Frequently asked questions

Should we build custom or use Shopify or WooCommerce? Usually a platform, and we will say so even though it is less work for us to say otherwise. Custom e-commerce is worth it when your product configuration, pricing rules or fulfilment genuinely do not fit a platform, not because you want a particular look. Most of the value is in the parts around the platform anyway.

What do we need to do about iDEAL and Wero? iDEAL is being folded into Wero, the pan-European wallet, and most of the practical work sits with your payment provider rather than with you. Confirm their roadmap, plan for the co-branded period, and make sure your checkout copy and logos can change without a developer. Given iDEAL handles the large majority of Dutch online payments, this is worth being early on.

Where does AI actually help in e-commerce? Product data enrichment, generating and translating descriptions at scale, search and recommendations that understand intent rather than matching strings, and support assistants grounded in your actual returns and shipping policy. Where it does not help is anywhere you need a number to be exactly right.

Should we sell on bol.com or our own webshop? Usually both, for different jobs. Marketplaces buy you reach and cost you margin and the customer relationship; your own shop keeps both and costs you the traffic problem. The mistake is treating it as an either-or decision rather than a portfolio one.
