What gets stored on your device, and how to change it.
This page explains what is stored on your device when you visit neurova-ai.com, and what you can do about it. It sits alongside our privacy statement.
Under Article 11.7a of the Dutch Telecommunications Act, anything that is not strictly necessary needs your permission before it is placed. Google Analytics writes a cookie containing a unique identifier, which does not qualify for the Dutch exemption for privacy-friendly analytics. So we do not load Google Analytics at all until you accept it. Decline, and no request to Google's servers is ever made from this site.
We also apply Google Consent Mode v2, with every storage category set to denied by default before any Google script can run.
These are needed for the site to work and cannot be switched off.
Set by Google Analytics 4 to measure how the site is used. We look at aggregate numbers: which articles get read, which pages people arrive on. We do not use these for advertising.
No advertising cookies, no remarketing pixels, no social media trackers, no session recording or heatmaps, and no cross-site profiling. There is deliberately no "marketing" toggle in our consent banner, because we have nothing to put in it.
Cookies are only half the question. A page can disclose your IP address to another company without setting anything at all, simply by loading a font, an icon set or a widget from someone else's server. We have removed those.
Our webfonts are self-hosted on neurova-ai.com rather than loaded from Google Fonts, and we use no icon CDN, tag manager, embedded video, social widget or chat widget. If you decline analytics, loading this website results in no connection to any third party (only to our own host, which necessarily sees your IP address in order to send you the page).
Select Cookie preferences in the footer of any page to reopen the panel and change your choice. Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it. You can also delete cookies directly in your browser settings, and set your browser to refuse them in future.
